17.2.Sign on will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the first race of each day. Boats
that have not signed on by this time will be deemed as not starting.
17.3.All persons on board (POB) must use the allocated QR code to register their person
contact details before their boat departs their home club.
17.4.Boats must sign off using the allocated QR code, as soon as practicable after racing.
17.5.[DP] A boat that retires from a race shall notify the race committee at the first
reasonable opportunity.
17.6.Where boats do not comply with S Special Regulations Part 1, Section 3.12, crew
shall wear an approved personal floatation device (PFD) at all times while afloat.
PFDs shall conform to AS Special Regulation 5.01.1. Failure to comply will result in
the boat being scored DSQ without a hearing. This changes RRS A5.1 and A5.2.
17.7.RYCV recommends that all competitors wear an approved PFD at all times while
afloat.
17.8.Any boat subject to a complaint from a Ships’ Master or the Port of Melbourne
Harbour Master will be scored DSQ without a hearing. This changes RRS A5.1 and
A5.2.

18. OFFICIAL VESSELS
18.1.Official race management vessels may display the pennant of RYCV and RGYC
respectively.

19. BERTHING
19.1.Boats shall be kept in their assigned places in the marina.
