The Context:
The outbound learning activity was initiated and sustained as one of the experiential methods

of innovative teaching practices as it gives the learner an opportunity to experience, review

and reflect, draw learning on a reflective method, apply and test what is learnt through review
& reflect on the experimentation.

The Practice:
Vishwa Spandhana activity offered by the Human Network Working Academy of the

University is to meet the challenges of life and develop intellectual abilities. These qualities
are imparted through structured out-bound learning experiences. Outbound Learning also

helps students to overcome fear, create an urge to do, kindle fire to perform and test and

enhance self- esteem. Our OBL activity is based on the philosophy that ‘Nature is the Best
Teacher’. Activities like Mountaineering, Rappelling, and Team building games form an

integral part of our training programme. Additional activities like Jungle Trek, Night Trek Hill

Climbing, White water Rafting, Para Sailing and Micro light flying too are conducted regularly.
