Hill Climbing

      •    Enabled overcoming vertigo (fear of heights).

      •    Students, who were overawed by the looming mountain, learned to choose intermediate

                 Day (Long) Trek
       •  Realized the importance of stamina and regular exercise.

       •  Brought out hither to unrealized potential of one’s capacity to endure thrust and hunger.
       •  Brought out the importance of outdoor activity.

       •  Learnt to appreciate and feel the true beauty of nature.


            Day (short) Trek

       •  Learnt about Animal and Bird life / habits.

       •  Understood the importance of Man-Animal-Nature interdependence.
       •  Awareness created to preserve the natural habitats and trails of animals / birds to maintain

           balance in nature.
       •  Become aware of man’s ability (due to his keen sense of observation, logical thinking and

           scientific temperament) to protect the endangered species.


              Cave Exploration

       •  Aroused the spirit of exploration.

       •  Overcoming claustrophobia (fear of closed spaces) and darkness.
       •  Experienced extreme stress / anxiety in the unfamiliar environment.

       •  Experienced perfect external silence and internal calm.

       •  Understood the true meaning of ‘Light at the end of the Tunnel.”


              Rock-Climbing and Rappelling
