ACTIVITIES
Instructional activities, group and individual project-based learning,
discussion of design theory and principles of design, sketching of
designs, presentation of artwork/curate an art exhibit, build a portfolio,
2D drawing/sketching/painting/multi-media, digital illustration, photo
manipulation, digital painting, logo/cover design, collages, photo/
video composition and editing, basis of lighting, journalism/yearbook,
Umea University research artists, web design, wheel throwing, slab construction, color
theory, application and firing, process of glazes

Furniture
Tall storage cabinets for media, flat storage and open upper shelving,
vertical mat board storage.
Display case, lockable and accessible from inside classroom, visible
from exterior.

PRECEDENT IMAGERY
Epoxy coated concrete floor with slip and stain resistance. Tackable
Kepler Performing and Visual Arts Education Center surface on all walls to allow for “gallery” display of student work.
Exposed high ceiling, acoustical metal deck.
