Our crews are heroes!
MasTec crews drove hundreds of miles to restore power in Texas, Louisiana and Florida. Below are just a few letters that came in from customers:
“A great big thank you and hugs of appreciation to the MasTec workers from Dallas who came to Florida and fixed our power outage due to hurricane Irma. I live in Casselberry, Florida and they were so kind even after all the hundreds of hours they put in. God bless to each and every one of them.” Diane A.
“Thank you for coming to Florida and getting our power back! Huge shout out to Gabe, Justin, Bossman and Crew – they were professional, nice, and efficient. Great job!” Pam A.
“Just wanted to say thank you. We didn’t have power in my neighborhood since Sunday night when the storm rolled through but we do now. You had a crew out of Dallas going from line to line and pole to pole till they got us all lit up like Christmas. I came home, saw ‘em on the bucket truck and wanted to offer them some cold water but away they went to help out the next people without power. Just wanted to extend some warm words of thanks knowing that there is a lot of sacrifice that goes into helping other communities.” Chris S.
“I wanted to say a HUGE "Thank You" to your company and ALL the people who traveled down to Florida to assist after the hurricane left us without power. I am thankful and appreciative to all the people from your company who left their families behind to come and serve my family and others. We appreciate each of you.” Minnie A.
“My husband and I want to thank two of your employees who stepped up to help restore power to our neighborhood following hurricane Irma. We consider Wayne and Chris, who drove truck USDOT #774244, our angels in disguise! They really stepped up and went above and beyond to make sure the homes in our section of Wellington Station had power again. Cindy and Kevin O.
What a team!
MasTec acquires two companies.
SEFNCO Communications:
Earlier this year, MasTec acquired SEFNCO Communications, Inc., a leading wireline/fiber deployment construction contractor with operations in several western states, predominantly servicing cable system operators.
SEFNCO started out in 1998 with four coaxial splicing trucks on one five-acre construction yard and a determination and devotion to superior quality and service. Today, SEFNCO operates all across the western United States. They have approximately 700 employees.
Side note: Before Fast Break could introduce SEFNCO in these pages, their leadership team already made headlines when they drove two trucks of emergency relief supplies into Florida immediately following Hurricane Irma. You guys are amazing!
Cash Construction Company
Cash Construction is based in Pflugerville, Texas, and is a premier provider of land clearing, excavation, concrete and asphalt paving, and underground utility trenching services including major water and sewer pipeline construction. Integrity and pride is the foundation of their success, and their employees are dedicated to one common goal: quality service, safety and superior workmanship. They have approximately 250 employees.
