Foam Bullet™

Installation

Overview

Foam Bullets™ are usually installed as a pair or a set of three onto tunnel carwash equipment. The
type of equipment the Foam Bullets™ are being attached to will determine the type of Multi-Axis™
mount that is necessary. There are three Multi-Axis™ mounts that are available for the Foam
Bullets™. They are the 4X mount, Flat Mount and Oval Mount. The 4X mount is used to attach the
Foam Bullets™ to either a 4”x4” or 4”x6” square frame. The Flat Mount allows the foam bullet to be
mounted to any flat surface in the tunnel and the Oval Mount is used when attaching the Foam
Bullets™ to a Belanger® Signature Series frame.

The following pages give instructions on how to install each type of the Multi-Axis™ Mounts, how to
attach the Foam Bullet™ to the mounts and how to position the Foam Bullets™ with the Multi-
Axis™ Mounts. In addition, a recommended location and dimension for the Foam Bullets™ are
given for each type of equipment shown. The specified location of the Foam Bullets™ on each piece
of equipment is only a recommendation and may vary according to the customer’s preference.

Helpful Hint

The Foam Bullets™ can be mounted anywhere on the arch frame that fit your
requirements as long as the proper mount is used and the recommended working
envelopes are kept. Once mounted correctly the Foam Bullets™ can be positioned using
the Multi-Axis™ mount to deliver optimal foam coverage on the vehicles.
