Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Optional Dual Pod Triple Foam Installation

Overview
If you have purchased the optional MixStir™ Triple Foam, refer to the MixStir™ manual
for more details and connections.

The optional Dual Triple Foam Pods package is a system that adds the ability to apply triple
foam 2-1/2 feet further back on long vehicles when used in a short bay application. This option
should only be used in very short bays where it is necessary to cut the rails by more than 2-1/2
feet.
This option will use twice the triple foam chemical for each vehicle and apply single coverage for
the first and last 2-1/2 feet, while applying double coverage for the rest of the vehicle. The Dual
Triple Foam Pods package consists of two side-mounted triple foam pods, a distribution
manifold atop the carriage assembly and feed hoses. There is a specific HMI programming
change that will be required. The following information will cover the installation of the Pods,
Manifold and Hoses.
Initial Startup and Programming are covered in the “Startup Section” near the end of this
document.

This option is for use in “short bay” scenarios.
Installing the Triple Foam Pods will require components to be installed in the back room as well
as onto the Carriage. The following will guide you in the installation and setup.
