Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Installing the Front and Rear Sonar Units
The Sonar Units are to be mounted on the driver side of the Carriage.

1) Locate and secure the Sonar Unit mounts to the doors of the Carriage Assembly. The doors have pre-drilled holes.
Connect the leads
to the Sonar Units
Run lead
wire through
Sonar Unit
post here
Sonar Mount
Dotted circles are access holes in the mount to manipulate the cable

2) Run the lead wire through the post of the mount.
3) Connect cable to Sonar while applying a small amount of Dielectric Grease.
4) Re-mount Sonar Unit to Sonar Mount.
5) Adjust Sonar Unit to achieve level condition entrance to exit as shown on the next page.
Note: The Sonar Units seeing a solid floor is critical for proper operation. If the is a
floor drain in the path of the sonar signal, mount the Sonar unit on the
passenger side of the carriage.
