Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Optional Lighted Arm Wire Connection

Once the Side Manifolds are snapped into their operating position it is now time to wire up the optional lighting package. This will
require the black upper manifold cover to be removed to access the arm junction box. Field supplied tie wraps are required to secure
the covers back into place.

If you do NOT have this option, move on to the next section.
1) Cut all the tie wraps that hold the upper manifold cover in place and remove the cover.
2) Open the junction boxes circled below and pull out the end of the wires. Run the wires from the Side Manifolds up and
through the rubber boots, through the cord grips and into the junction boxes. Be sure to leave a little slack to allow for the
event of arm breakaways.

3) Using the proper size field supplied wire nuts, make the connections as stated below.
White LED Option RGB LED Option
· Connnect the 2 black wires together · Connnect the 2 black wires together
· Connnect the 2 white wires together · Connnect the 2 white wires together
· Discard the brown and blue wires · Connnect the 2 brown wires together
· Connnect the 2 blue wires together
4) Replace the junction box cover and tie down any loose cable using field supplied tie wraps. Once again, make sure there
is some slack in the wire to accomodate an arm breakaway.

5) Snap the upper manifold cover back into place.
6) Using small field supplied tie wraps, secure the cover back onto the upper manifold. It may be useful to bend the end of
the tie wrap first to help guide the tie wrap through the opposite hole in the cover.
