Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly
Connecting the Reed Switches
1) Apply a small amount of dielectric grease inside the wire connector before connecting the Reed Switches
(shown below). It does not matter which wire goes to which Reed Switch since the switches are connected in
series.
Apply dielectric grease in the connector

2) There are 2 Reed Switches mounted to the entrance side of the upper knuckle mount and the wall side of the
side manifold arm.
