Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Connecting the Corner Hoses
Note: DO NOT fully tighten the corner hoses until the machine is powered up and is able to
butterfly open.

1) Locate the two corner hose fittings and corner hoses for the arms. Hand-tighten them into place.
2) Visually align the vertical manifolds until they are straight.
3) Tighten the four bolts on the knuckle. The knuckle assemblies are slotted to give a precise alignment. This will be
covered in more detail after the machine has been powered up.

Note: Initial Startup Procedure (chapter 19) will cover the final sensitivity adjustment of the
breakaway switch.

Installing the Rubber Boots

1) Locate the Rubber Boot(s) and secure around the Knucke as shown below using the supplied tie-wraps.
