Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Installing the Side Manifolds

1) Remove the same parts shown earlier from the lower end of the Knuckle and keep them close by. Locate the supplied
“Rubber Boot”, slide it over the Knuckle and push it up to expose the lower portion of the Knuckle as shown below.

Detents

2) Locate the appropriate Side manifold Arm Assembly and secure it into place using the previously removed parts as
shown below. The Manifold is to be installed with the “detent” in line with the Knuckle Ball It will be parallel to the floor
then snapped into place.

3) Repeat for the second arm if the KL2 was purchased.
