Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Installing the XR Triple Foam Pods
Installing the XR triple foam will require components to be installed in the back room as well as onto the Carriage. The follow
will guide you in the installation and setup.

Triple Foam Chemical/Air Distribution Manifold

The XR Pods have a driver side and passenger side assembly. They can be identified by looking at the notch located on the plate
which will mount to the carriage. The notch will always mount toward the entrance end of the wash bay. It allows clearance for the
bolt head which mounts the oval beam inside the carriage.
1) Locate the driver side assembly along with four each of the 3/8-16-1’’ stainless steel fasteners, 3/8” lock washers, and 3/8
“ flat washers. Secure the assembly to the carriage as shown below.

2) Repeat the above for the passenger side assembly.
3) Remove the black plastic covers on top of the pods. Run the lines through the carriage side plate hole that allows the line
to pass into the XR Mount Arm and up to the Triple Foam Pods. The lower set of holes is for the air lines to hook into and
the upper set of holes are for the chemical/water mixture lines to hook into.
