Chapter 10 Spot Free Rinse (RO)

Connections for Model 3000 GPD, Stand Mounted System
5) Drill a 1-3/4“ hole centered 18” up from the floor. See drawings in Pur Clean manual. Install a float with rubber gasket to
the inside of tank and replace nut. This float will plug into the control box for the re-pressurization pump.
6) Drill 9/16” hole in top of tank and tap with a 3/8” pipe tap, thread in the plastic or brass fitting for the product tube. See
drawings in Pur Clean manual.
7) Locate 1/2” tube, if you have a brass fitting to tank, attach fitting to elbow in top of tank, if you have a plastic fitting, Insert
into plastic elbow fitting on top of storage tank, other end attaches to the fitting behind the water quality light.
8) Connect the 1-1/4“ hose from tank adapter to inlet of re-pressurization pump with the quick disconnect fitting.
9) Make sure the reverse osmosis control unit switch is “OFF”. Now plug the reverse osmosis unit into the dedicated outlet.

RO Installation Final Check List
· Is RO unit plugged IN?
· All hoses and fittings tightened?
· Is tap water valve turned ON?
· Is float plugged into controller?
