E-1063 PROGRAMMING AND OPERATION

                       Chapter 1 General Machine Operation

                       Typical Features of Wash

                           Enter Wheels

Operation is typical but can be modified via the E-1063. Each Enter Wheel is equipped with 2-stage cylinders; one
stage has a 4” stroke with air-over-oil systems implemented. The other has a 2” stroke that is pneumatic only.

From Front – the Enter Wheels will turn on and come in via 4” cylinder extension. The carriage will slow down when
the wheels are close to the back of the vehicle. When Enter Passenger Side In-Sensor (Read Switch) sensed, the
passenger side 2” cylinder stroke will extend and the machine will continue moving backwards far enough for full
extension of the passenger side cylinder. Then it will stop, retract passenger side 2” stroke and extend the driver
side 2” stroke and then it will move forward 10” for the passenger side to get full coverage. Once it has moved 10”
forward, the Carriage will change directions and move towards the back of the vehicle and continue with the driver
side cylinder extended. This motion of the Enter Wheels on the back of the vehicle is referred to as Anti-Skunk.

From Back – Enter Wheels will turn on and come in immediately. Both sides will have its 4” stroke extended but the
passenger side will have its 2” stroke extended also. As the wheels are coming around the back corners of the
vehicle, the passenger side 2” stoke will retract. As the machine is moving forward, the Enter Wheels will change
direction as they get close to the mirrors. This is done for a more gentle scrubbing of the mirror area.
                           Tire and Rim Cleaning

This machine utilizes touch-less technology to clean tires and rims. This is achieved by spraying tire cleaner on the
tires and rims as the vehicle is pulling into the bay, then sprays the tires and rims with high-pressure during one of
the passes. When the high-pressure system (TIRE HIGH-PRESSURE) is active, the machine will have high-
pressure on for the entire length of the vehicle. The Carriage speed will slow to a user adjustable speed in the
approximate location of tires and rims. This system simultaneously high-pressure rinses rockers and other lower
panels of the vehicle while high-pressure rinsing the rims.
