Trouble Shooting Guide
Problem Cause Solution
Pump does not run · Blown Fuses · Replace fuses
· Overloads tripped · Reset overload switch
(located on field supplied Motor Starter)
· Faulty car wash programmer · Check programmer for damage
· Faulty motor · Replace motor (Belanger® Part No. 1MOTOR-
EL785 or 1MOTOR-EL979)
· Faulty pump · Replace pump (Belanger® Part No. 1PUMP937)
Pump runs rough · Fluid too hot · Shut off machine to allow fluid to cool off
· Air in water supply line · Purge airlines to remove bubbles
· Excessive turbulence or vibration in tank · Make sure tank is sitting level
· Inadequate fluid level in tank · Increase fluid level
Drop in volume or · Air leak in suction line · Replace suction lines
