JET PUMPING STATION
Startup
Initial
Note: The following steps are CRITICAL TO PROPER OPERATION!!
1) Thoroughly wipe down all interior surfaces of the tank. Make sure that no installation debris is left
behind.
2) Open shut-off valve to inlet plumbing. Operate float valve manually by moving the float to the extreme
up, and the extreme down positions (fully off to fully on) several times prior to allowing water to reach
maximum level. The float valve will be slow to react the first time it is shut off. This is normal.
3) Close shut-off valve and drain tank to purge any debris which may have accumulated in the inlet
plumbing during installation.
4) Open shut-off valve and allow tank to refill.
5) Make sure that the oil level in the pump is 1” from the top of the fill port (to the line on the oil fill plug’s
dipstick).
6) Make sure that the un-loader is set to start under minimum pressure (fully open).
7) Slowly increase pressure by tightening adjustment nut until a setting of 1000 PSI (68.9 BAR) is
achieved.

8) Tighten locking nut.
9) Listen for any erratic noise and look for unsteady flow.
10) If the station has an airlock and the pump fails to prime:
a) Turn power off.
b) Remove drain plug (See Wanner manual) on the bottom center of the manifold.
c) Briefly restart the Jet Pumping Station™ and let it run until fluid comes out of the drain plug hole.
d) Turn power off and replace the drain plug.
e) Adjust un-loader to the desired operating pressure. (1000 PSI maximum)
