            Maintenance



            Routine Procedures
                •   Check spray nozzles
                •   Inspect the component clogged nozzles. This can best be done while running a test vehicle at the start of the
                    business day.
                   •   Remove the cap and gasket where the nozzles are installed
                   •   Insert a thin wire into the nozzle opening to clear any obstructions. Sometimes simply tapping on the nozzle can clear it.

                •   Wash component down with a good degrimer such as Tide laundry detergent and hot water.

            Trouble Shooting


                   Problem                  Cause                             Solution
               No chemical        •   Clogged foot valve on suction line   •   Clean or replace foot valve

                                  •   Empty storage tank      •   Fill storage tank
                                  •   Chemical pump has lost prime   •   Prime chemical pump
                                  •   Solenoid valve not energized   •   Check for proper operating voltage
               Pulsating or       •   Nozzles clogged         •   Remove from arch manifold and clean with thin wire
               weak spray         •   Dirt in solenoid valve   •   Disassemble and clean solenoid valve

                                  •   Kink in hose            •   Remove any kinks from hose
                                  •   Inadequate water pressure   •   Open water valve to fullest
                                                              •   Call Distributor for advice on installing booster pump
