TITAN VPS™

Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the Belanger, Inc. Titan VPS™-Vehicle Prep System.
The Titan VPS™ (Vehicle Prep System) uses high volume and medium pressure reclaim water
to thoroughly prep all vehicles prior to entering a mitter curtain. Two triple manifold tubes with a
total of 14 nozzles eliminate the need for most manual prepping of the vehicle, with superior
results. The resulting higher line speeds and reduced man-hours per vehicle, will give a rapid
return on investment and continued savings for years to come.
The manifold extrusion is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and is anodized to prevent staining.
The durable plastic tube bodies are available in two colors: cyan blue and deep red. The brass
nozzles are engineered to deliver 85GPM to the vehicle in a 3 layer cut pattern for maximum
cleaning at peak pump efficiency. The 2 Grundfos pumps and Baldor™ motors have a proven
record for high quality & low maintenance. The Lakos™ centrifugal separator is matched to the
system and provides 50micron filtering with no maintenance.
The purpose of this manual is to familiarize you with the way that the Titan VPS™ is installed,
how it operates, and how to maintain it after installation.
The “Installation” section will be used in conjunction with the specification sheet, the location
diagram, and the Titan VPS™ drawings. All of these combined are your guide to installation.
The “Maintenance” section will be used to make sure you can keep your car wash component
looking and running like new.
Whether you have already operated a car wash or you are new to our industry, you know the
importance of the appearance of a car wash and its equipment to the customer. Keeping the
equipment clean will not only make the equipment easier to maintain, it will act as an example
to your customer to keep their equipment (their automobile) clean as well. Replacing the cloth
in your tunnel as necessary, will also help the image of your wash and keep the customer
coming back.

Read through the entire manual to familiarize yourself with the Titan VPS™ before installation.
When installation is completed, you will want to keep this manual as a guide to proper
maintenance.
