However, her mother doesn’t
understand that she needs rest as well as
work. Mika wondered sometimes if her
mother just saw her as a robot doing work
none stop. Mika sat in class taking down
the notes from the board as her social
studies teacher drowned on. After drinking
her tea she recovered from her stomach
ache and so had to begin practicing math
as her study timetable outlines. Her
mother friend that ran a taxi had dropped
her to school as he does on a regular
basis.
Her mother never had much
funds and so she does everything in her
power to make the money that she does
have stretch. Therefore her mother made
an arrangement with Byron so that he
provides Mika with rides throughout the
month until payment is due.
