Baseline
Before building the scaffolds, you need to draw the base lines of the scaffolds.
1. Select the appropriate width in Properties type selector
2. First time in each Revit session “Place on Face” will be default. You must then switch to
“Place on Work Plane”.
3. Normally use the Draw line option. In some cases, you might take advantage of the rectangle
option
4. When drawing around corners, there will be gaps. In inner corners, overlaps. You should then
edit the endpoints. Click on the baseline and use the grips to stretch the end to cover the
corner.
Remember always to draw counter clockwise around the building. The inner line has an arrow
showing the start point of the base line.
If you have the building present in the model you can use an offset value and draw the baseline
aligned with the outer wall. Use negative to get the offset outside the wall.
