P. 10

1. Click in one bay if you want to move it sideways. When selecting a bay with diagonals, only
the diagonals will be moved. The widths are not changed. When selecting a bay without
diagonals, the bay width is moved by.
                   2. Around the middle of the scaffold, the bay length is reduced to next smaller standard length
to adjust to the total length of the scaffold
                   3. If the sum of bay lengths does not fit the total length, the rest length will be a gap. Shown as
gray background. Gap length is shown. The value can be changed by entering the field.
                   4. When changing bay widths or removing gap, the value of the scaffold length is updated.
                   5. Use the arrow keys to move left/right. You can also use the keyboard arrow keys. Just click
                      twice to start.
                   6. Set the interval of the diagonals. It will start at the left bay with a diagonal from lower left to
upper right. It will then alternate the direction of the diagonal each interval. Set the value to
0 if diagonals are not needed.
                   7. Remove Gap – Mind, length of scaffold will change.
                   8. Change Bay Length – Click on one bay if you want to change the width. Select new length in
                      the dropdown list.
                   9. Add/remove single console – Press this button to activate the add/remove function. Click
then at the crossing points of the lines. If a console exists, it will be removed, else it will be
                      added.
                   10. Add/remove console row – Press this button to activate the add/remove function. It acts like
the single function except that it add/removes consoles on the whole row
                   11. Add/remove single anchoring – Press this button to activate the add/remove function. Click
then at the crossing points of the lines. If an anchoring exists, it will be removed, else it will
                      be added.
                   12. Anchoring at ends – This setting is off by default. Click to set anchoring at ends. You can click
                      on/off
                   13. Anchoring every second deck – This setting is on by default if distance between decks is
equal or lower than 2000. Else it is off. Press this button if you want to override this.
                   14. Anchoring every second deck – This setting is off by default. Press this button to override.
                   15. Staggered anchoring – Every second deck and every second standard alternates. Top deck
                      gets anchoring on all.
                   16. Cancel – No scaffold will be built.
                   17. Close – The corrections you have made is saved and used for this scaffold.

               Using consoles

When using consoles, the order of selecting base lines matter. When a scaffold has consoles, the
connected scaffold should have an adjusted bay length according to console length of the other
scaffold. To be able to detect that console length, the scaffold must have been created first. When
not using consoles, you don’t need to care about the selection order.
