Floors and roof

Task-Roof A

Purpose: to understand how the roof is created, modeled and placed:

1. Navigate to ”(04) Tag A” i Project Browser and
click on Roof tool.

The first roof must be modeled with a slope on all
four sides and this can be done by selecting method
Roof by Footprint

Architecture ► Build ► Roof ► Roof by
Footprint

2. The roof is modeled with type “Generic – 400 mm”,
that can be selected in Properties.

3. When Roof by Footprint tool is activated, you get
into Sketch Mode where the outline of the roof are
drawn with Boundary Line.
The sketch must be a closed shape and that can be
applied by various Draw tools and then corrected
with Modify tools such as Trim / Extend to Corner
and Align.
