CEILINGS

          Ceilings

In a Ceiling Plan View, Cut Plane is set, as a starting point, in 2300 mm height, opposite from
Floor Plan View, which is 1200 mm.

There can be, as in roof modellering, appointed geometry as a border for a ceiling.

          Go to Ceiling Plan View.
          Architecture ► Build ► Ceiling

          In ”Properties” select Ceiling Type.
Enter the height from Level to the bottom edge of
          the ceiling.

As a starting point, Revit will choose Automatic
Ceiling, that uses wall geometry for borders.
OBS! Click only once in each room.

This warning appears if you insert several ceilings on top of each other.

Ceiling can, however, also be outlined the same
          way as the roof. ►

          Select Sketch Ceiling.

It is possible to add slope for the ceilings and the function is the same as for roof structures and
          floors.
