Curtain Wall

Curtain walls are façade (glass) walls or (door, window), in which we can insert panels. A panel
can be cladding, a special glass, door etc.

Curtain Wall:
Is defined and modeled as a wall, and is therefore also under command Wall. These walls can
be built as types.
Curtain System:
Is a complete defined pattern, placed on a surface, called the Face.

Curtain Walls

Function Curtain Wall is started via:
Architecture ► Build ► Wall
At the bottom of the "Type Selector" you can
find "Curtain Walls". You can choose between the
various types, and that new types can be formed
based on these.
Note that the Curtain Walls do not form "Wraps",
since they themselves are walls.

Option Bar-Curtain Walls looks like at the other walls.

Type Properties Curtain Wall

Automatically Embed:
If there is a check mark here, Curtain wall will automatically cut an opening in the existing wall.
Curtain Panel:
Select the types of panels you want as default.
Join Condition:
Here you can select different Assembly possibilities between the crossbars, called Mullions.
