Floors and roof

Span Direction used to define the direction in which
the floor is placed. That is why this function is more
closely related to Revit Structure.

When the floor is formed, press Finish to Exit Edit
mode, and exit Sketch Mode.

In Properties floor type is selected, either before or after the floor is formed.

Task – Terrain-and floor slab

Purpose: to understand how the floors will be created, modeled and placed:

1. Navigate to the ground level in the Project Browser and click on
Floor tool

Architecture ► Build ► Floor ► Floor: Architectural

2. In the generic model we do not distinguish
between terrain and floor slab and they are
all modeled with type "Generic – 300 mm",
selected in Properties
