Doors and Windows
After a door is placed it can be mirrored using the
arrows on the door or by using the SPACEBAR on
the keyboard.
When a window or a door is inserted, these can be associated with indexing. These new
numbers are called Tags, and can be de/selected on Context Tab.
Tags can also be added on afterwards, if desired, using:
Annotate ► Tag ► Tag by Category
Task-doors and Windows
Purpose: to understand how Windows and doors is loaded and placed:
1. Navigate to any Plan View in Project Browser
2. Door and Window-tools can be found under
Architecture ► Build ► Door / Window
3. In the first place, we will not assign indexing to the inserted
components, Tag on Placement of the Context Ribbon must be
turned off.
4. Next, place the doors and Windows on respectively. ground floor
and 1. floor, as shown on the following floor plans, with types:
Window type:
NTI_Window_Tophung – 1112x1312 mm
Door types:
NTI_Door_Interior_Single_Flush - 9x21M
NTI_Door_Interior_Single_Flush - 10x21M
Generally, all single doors are placed 150 mm from adjacent wall,
unless otherwise indicated on the plans.
The Windows are inserted with Sill Height of 750 mm, which is
set in Properties
