Suspensions




                  Suspensions


                  In Revit, there is no explicit function to illustrate suspensions, but as with the other elements,
                  this can be circumvented by the use of column-tool to illustrate the desired suspension.


                  Additional task – Suspensions


                  1.    To model nsuspension, which carries the cantilevered slab for the 1. floor and upper
                        landing on the stairs, use Column tool:

                        Architecture ► Column ► Column: Architectural




                  2.    The type you need to use is not in the project, yet.
                        Click on Load Family in Context Tab


                        Download type ”Suspension 50 mm” from
                        Kursusfiler ► Families





                  3.    Navigate to 1. Floor and place the suspensions as
                        shown in the illustration to the right


                        Height has to be set to”Tag A” in the Option Bar
                        or in Properties










                  4.    Check if necessary. the result in the 3D View with Section Box
