Room

                  Task – Room and tags

Purpose: to understand how space is created and tags are mapped:

                  1. Navigate to ”(02) 1. Sal” in Project Browser.

Create Duplicate of View’et and name the new view View ”Rum – (02) 1. Sal”

                  2. Select the created View and start Room tool:

                        Architecture ► Room & Area ► Room

                  3. In Context Tab, Tag on Placement must be turned on to create
                        tag.

I Properties choose “Room Tag – Name Number Area”

                  4. Where rooms and zones are not naturally bounded by walls, it
would be necessary to split these with Room Separation Lines.

Architecture ► Room & Area ► Room Separator

                  5. Create Rooms on the floor, as the following illustration.

Correct room names by clicking it or by selecting the room and change in Properties.

If room numbers is not desired, this can be changed in Properties for Room Tag

                  6. Note to Revit does not automatically delimiting spaces by front slab partition to the
double-height room. It is here necessary to draw Room Separation Lines in order to get
the correct area of open Office and the middle zone.
