STAIRS AND RAILINGS

Railing

Railing can be added for, for example, stairs or decks. When creating a new railing, this can
be done in "Sketch" mode.

Architecture ► Circulation ► Railing
Sketch mode and Contextual Tab appears.

Pick New Host:

Select the host for the railings.
Edit Rail Joins:
Editing of the cutting of handrail in corners.

In the "Properties", setup of the railings is available.
You can add different profiles, which are part of your project.

Task – Railing

1. Create railings by navigating to 1. Sals plan and klick on Railing tool

Architecture ► Circulation ► Railing ► Place on Stair/Ramp

2. ON Context Ribbon choose Stringer fin order to place the railing on
stringers
In properties select the type Railing – Glass Panel 1000 mm

3. Click on the stairs and Revit will automatically create railing.

However, it also creates railing at the grid line D at the end of the upper
landing.
By selecting railing and click Edit Path i Context Ribbon sketch of the
railing can be edited. Remote line snippet at modullinje D.

If you click OK, the following warning will appear:
