STAIRS AND RAILINGS

          Stairs and railings

Stair and railing are objects that can be used together or separately.

          Stairs

Stairs are associated with Levels. Stairs can be created by using staircase components
and sketching with lines two-dimensional. While creating the stairs help text will show up
regarding number of steps that are missing in order to be able to go from Level to Level.

Stairs are "drawn" with predefined elements in
          "Sketch" mode.

          Disse prædefinerede elementer er følgende:

Run: Main stair shape, either with a predefined
shape or defined in a sketch (see Create Sketch)
          below
          Landing
Support: Support for either landing or stair run

If you select ”Create Sketch” in ”Run”
          following options appear:
          Run:
Here you draw staircase line-center line.
          Boundary:
Delineation of staircase – the edges

          Riser:
Here you draw lines for risers

          Railing:
When you model the stairs, it is possible to
define whether to create railings along with the
staircase, the type and location of risers.

Before you select stairs placement, choose starting point (Location Line), offset (Offset) and
width. Automatic Landing creates a landing from the outlined stair.
