4. A segment should be removed where the entrance door
should be – see illustration at the end of the task.
This is done by selecting Grid line, click on Add /
Remove Segment in Context Ribbon and then select
the part of the Grid line that should be removed.

5. Frames and mullions are added with Mullion tool

Architecture ► Build ► Mullion

In Properties select the type Rectangular 50 x 150 mm
and then place mullions by clicking at all Grid lines and
on the edge of the Curtain Wall

6. Some glass panels has to be replaced to blinded panels and an entrance should be
inserted in the glass partition.
Use TAB to select a panel, that has to be changed to bllinded panel. Under Properties
change type to System Panel ► Solid

The other panels can be replaced in the same way. Alternatively, Modify ► Match
Properties is used or the row of panels can be selected with a Crossing Selection and
then use the Filter function to isolate Curtain Panels.

7. The entrance door is inserted in the same way, but since this Family does not exist in the
project, yet. First, it must be imported into the project through

Insert ► Load from Library ► Load Family

Download the file ”M_Curtain Wall-Dbl_Glass_Door” from folder Kursusfiler ►
Families

There should not be mullions, under the door. Mark them, press DELETE and then
replace the double wide panel in the same way as previously described.
