ANNOTATION

Task – Dimensioning

Purpose: To understand how different types of annotations are associated with objects

1. Navigate to 1. Sals plan in Project Browser, make a
Duplicate of the View and name it ”1. Sal Annotation”

2. First, measure the grid net with Aligned Dimension

Annotate ► Aligned

3. Then measure the exterior walls

In Option Bar set Pick: to Entire Walls and then a whole wall
can be measured with one click on it.

Try the various options in Options and measure walls

Adjust if necessary, the subsequent measurement by selecting
it and clicking Edit Witness Lines i Context Tab

4. Navigate to an exterior elevation and add annotation for spot
elevation with Spot Elevation
