ANNOTATION

          Tagging (Tags)

Indexing (Tags) is information of objects. It may be information that is based on the type, so that
all, for example, Doors of the same type have the same information. Otherwise, it is based on
the element features, so that each door has a unique information attached. An indexing (Tags)
is a very useful way to document or comment on items in a drawing on.

Each category of Families has a predefined Tag, some of which are loaded automatically with
the project template, while others must be manually loaded as needed. It is also possible to
create own Tags in Family Editor. Refer to the Family Building course.
There are three different types of index:
By Category Automatically identifies the object category and assigns the correct tag.

Multi-Category Uses Shared Parameters to assign tags across categories. (not reviewed)
By Material Displays a question mark the first time it is placed. It is necessary to assign
a value to the material parameter (Identity ► Description = ***, after which
the value appears in the tag (not reviewed).
