DETAILING

          Detailing

This section should be looked closely at the details. Details are 2D lines and Families that can
be linked to the 3D model, if desired.

Details can be created from references on the model, from plans or sections. A View can be
made with reference to the model or an empty View.

          Callout

Callouts are references in the model where you can choose whether the view should refer to an
empty View or to the model.

          View ► Create ► Callout

Uncheck the Reference other View in Ribbon if this Callout displays the current section of the
          building model.

Add the checkbox if this Callout should refer to an empty View and select:
          <New Drafting View>

If Drafting Views or Callouts have been created for the model, these can be selected in the list
          below <New Drafting View>.

Callouts are drawn through two diagonal
          points as in a rectangle.

The index is not filled until the detail is drawn
to a "Sheet", as the index is used to refer to a
drawing. Marked Callout can be dragged in the blue dots to
                                                       change section and tag placement.

Right-click and select Go to View.
