DETAILING

Task – importing DWG Detail

Formål: At forstå hvordan en DWG detalje indsættes

1. Create a Drafting View via:

View ► Create ► Drafting View

Name the view ”DWG Import” and set the scale ratio to 1: 5

2. Navigate to the created View and paste the DWG file via:

Insert ► Link ► Link CAD

Select the file ”DWG Detalje.dwg” from the folder Kursusfiler

3. In the dialog box, select the following
• Colors: ”Preserve”
• Layers/Levels: ”All”
• Import Units: ”Millimeters”
• Positioning: “Manual – Center”

then click on Open

4. Place the drawing on the created Drafting View

There will appear a warning that some hatches can not be
displayed correctly in Revit. This warning can be ignored.

5. Select the inserted DWG drawing and click Query in Context Tab

6. Select a line, text or hatching that you want hidden

7. In the dialog box, select Hide in View - then everything will be
turned off on this layer
