Repair of board siding. Using hand tools and working from a ladder.
Cut out 3" x 3" or smaller damaged area with a chisel,

loosen the panel above, remove damaged panel nails,

section of 2-3 shingles removed and replaced.
Single course. Chip out damaged shingle, hacksaw old nails,
trim a new shingle and place 1/2" below
correct alignment, nail at top of course,
