1998 FCI Racing World Championship Versoix, Switzerland, June 6-7

The opening ceremony was scheduled to take place on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.
There were almost no spectators or participants to watch the Chefs d'Equipe march in
with their flags from 13 countries. The sound system also failed throughout the entire
event. 354 dogs were entered of which 29 Sloughis; 23 from Germany, 4 from
Switzerland, 1 from France and 1 from Austria.
