recognitions and timely year-end and mid performance evaluations. For many years he has
been the first to timely turn in all the F&B evaluations to Human Resources.

Igmar is a certified trainer in Hospitality Happens Here and assists the Human Resources
Department in customer service trainings to the entire Resort. He is also a certified coach in
Personal Development and assisted many associates with their mental health and addictions
by counseling and by using the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

Igmar also has the passion for the community. He is currently actively involved in the F&B
project of converting to biodegradable products in order to aid in maintaining a healthy
environment. He participates in Sponsor a Mile, Coastal Cleanup and in many communities,
projects sponsored by La Cabana. Igmar was once part of La Cabana First Response Team
and volunteered for the Search and Rescue Foundation of Aruba. He used to be a body builder
and an international judge for body building. Currently he still practices in the gym.

Based on all the above-mentioned qualifications and many more not mentioned, Igmar has
won the manager of the quarter on many occasions and in 2015 he won the big award of
Manager of the Year and repeated this triumph again with the Manager of the Year Award
2018.

Igmar is constantly searching for ways to take the Food & Beverage Department to the next
level. His passion, loyalty, years of experience, customer focus and commitment in
maintaining a total well-being at our resort in order to create happy associates that can
deliver memorable vacation to our guests, has earned his respect and admiration of so many
colleagues here at La Cabana.
