It is my greatest pleasure to take this opportunity to support the nomination of JEANETTE
BROOKS from our Food & Beverage department as our 2019 AHATA EXCELLENCE

AWARDS NOMINEE for SUPERVISOR OF THE YEAR!

Jeanette certainly is very deserving of this title. She is one of our Associates that consistently
perform according to La Cabana’s Values and Habits of Hospitality!

Jeanette is dynamic and well known for multi-tasking. She oversees the administration of

the F&B department. She deals with all the functions, small or big from A to Z. She keeps
track of all in-house functions, training, celebrations and amenities and prepares the month
end billings.

When there is a short of staff, she pitches in as waitress, cashier, runner. She functions as
the liaison between the Kitchen, Bar, Restaurant and Management staff. She finds the time

to go out and actively promote our F&B holiday specials and other events like the monthly
“Nochi di Ambiente”.

It is her calm and pleasant disposition, her knowledge, enthusiasm, agility, integrity and
guest obsession that make her easily approachable. You can be sure that Jeanette will perform
to the best of her abilities and comply with her responsibilities to the satisfaction of the

internal and external guests. Jeanette is an active member of the Social Committee and key
in organizing the many social activities for the associates, including the yearly successful
Family Day!

Jeanette is a valued associate who is consistently contributing to the success of La Cabana
and consequently to the continuous growth of Aruba’s tourism.
