Like all new puppy parents, once the decision
was made that a dog should join our family,
numerous steps ensued. The first step was to
decide what breed of dog would suit our family.
Many factors needed to be considered; size,
fur type, activity level and so on. Two main
considerations for us were fur type and what
sorts of activities would the dog be suited to.
Long fur and a large amount of moulting were a
problem due to my partners allergy’s. We also
required a dog that could be active with us in our
outdoor pursuits.

After much research we settled on a rare
breed that seemed to tick every box for us. The
German Pinscher appeared an ideal addition to
our household. The ultimate working dog that
can turn their amazing agility and intelligence to
almost any task. Medium size, strong, muscular
build, short hair, not to mention those very
gorgeous faces.
