Week Three | Joy
Scripture Read Luke 2:10
The third candle is pink and symbolizes joy.
What is it that brings you joy? Have you ever been so excited that you
wanted to leap for joy? Maybe you were taking a trip to an amusement
park with your family. We should feel this joy when we think of Jesus.
The letters in the word JOY can stand for Jesus-Others-You (finding joy in
Jesus, others and you). We can share our joy for God in many fun ways.
Joy through Acts of Kindness:
• Let someone go ahead of you.
• Make a homemade gift for someone.
• Share a memory album with an older family member.
• Find an adult and sing Christmas carols for your neighbors.
Pray
God, you fill us with your joy. Help us to notice where you are at work in
our lives and find joy in you. Amen.
