Mathematics with Statistics
Aims: To further develop mathematical and statistical knowledge. To enhance the ability to
communicate mathematical and statistical ideas.

Pathways this course contributes towards: Entry into the Level 3 Mathematics with
Statistics course. A career pathway in data analysis, communications, health or business.
Other essential information: A prerequisite is competency shown in Level 1 Mathematics
and Statistics standards. There is an opportunity for subject endorsement. A graphics
calculator eg Casio fx-9750GAPLUS is required.
