Maybe One Day Scenic Sunrise

Maybe one day the green from the trees will just live inside paint, The stars and moon,
Maybe one day, the flowers would be nothing but patterns on my Flutter in the night.
        sleeves. A new light emerges,
Maybe one day, The birds will be trapped in old photographs, Marking the arrival of the sun.
And the sea will be sold in bottles of steel.
                                                                       Walking higher and higher,
The feeling of grass under my feet was last felt years ago, Up to the peak of the sky.
The smell of rain is now too hard to recreate, Until the light reaches my eye,
The shine of stars is lost in rhinestones, And I see what I seek.
And the warmth of the sun, now gets violent.
                                                                       The sunrays blaze my skin,
All that can be seen is an orange mist that seems to go on forever, The air on the hill so thin.
It meets the barren land on the horizon, But it’s all worth the while,
Where nothing but tall skyscrapers stand as dark silhouettes. Because the sight brings a bright smile.
