• It would be sensible to limit the length of the
virtual party. It will be challenging to keep a
party going virtually. Just having a short get
together which everyone can enjoy is probably
better than a lengthy even. Also, the longer the
event is, the greater the chance of things
getting out of hand.
• If any games are organised, make sure that
someone checks that they are not likely to
offend anyone. Even if employees might be
seen to be hyper-sensitive, it is better to err on
the side of caution than to potentially go to
tribunal.
