Bishop Tim Coalter is a third-generation minister in the Church of God of Prophecy. Following 28 years of pastoral
ministry, he served as state overseer of South Carolina prior to being selected as general presbyter of North
America. He has also served on numerous Assembly committees. Bishop Coalter holds a Masters Degree in
Church Ministries with a concentration in Ministry Leadership fromPentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland,
Tennessee. He married his wife, Kelly, in 1979. Since that time, God has blessed them with three children and
numerous grandchildren.

NORTH AMERICA TOGETHER
CONFERENCE

On September 27, 2017 more than 900 pastors, their spouses
and some local church leaders met in Chattanooga, Tennessee
for the North America TOGETHER Conference. Forty-three
of the 50 United States were represented along with three
provinces of Canada, and one attendee from Venezuela.
The underlying goal in planning for this conference was to
affirm how much pastors and their spouses are valued and
appreciated as they daily fulfill their calling in serving their
local congregations and the communities in which they live.
This conference was blessed with guest presenters David
Kinnaman, president of Barna Research; Bishop Trevor Reid,
lead pastor, Bridge of Hope Church; Dr. David Ferguson,
president, Great Commandment Network; Karl Vaters, author
of The Grasshopper Myth and pastor of Cornerstone Christian
Fellowship; Dr. James Marcum; director of Heartwise Ministries
and author of Biblical Prescriptions for Life; Frank Santagate,
vice president of Global Strategic Alliances; Noel Castellanos,
CEO of Christian Community Development Association;
Tom Saccenti, Chief of Police, Furman University; Steve Lentz,
attorney, Goodman-Alley-Donnelson; General Overseer Sam
Clements; and North America General Presbyter Tim Coalter.
All were “on point” in affirming pastors and pouring into them
inspiration and desire to fulfill their call to ministry.
