fully engaged in their community and operate an outreach
program for troubled youth.
The Collingwood Journey Community Church, with lead
pastor Daniel Chatham, has been worshipping in a cinema for
the past three years. They have purchased a building across the
street and converted it into a café, offering a unique ministry to
its patrons. The Journey Community Church supports an active
mission outreach in the nations of Paraguay and Haiti and in its
own local community. This fellowship was honorably recognized
for its mission giving efforts in the 2016 International Assembly.
The Canada East national office reports a fresh realization
concerning the importance and availability of the medium of
media in order to share the “Good News” of the Gospel. Led
by national presiding bishop, Woodroe Thompson, they have
launched a television talk show, “Let’s Talk,” which provides
engaging media conversations that are at the heart of the
Christian faith. These episodes may be seen on their YouTube
channel and on their national website www.cogop.ca – look for
“Let’s Talk” with Woodroe Thompson.
