               LEAVING PROCEDURES




               Resignation
               Resignation is a voluntary act initiated by the employee to terminate employment with National Paints. Advance
               notice is required as per the employee’s contract.

               Termination
               Below are examples of some of the most common circumstances under which employment is terminated:

                    Resignation - voluntary employment termination initiated by an employee.

                    Discharge - involuntary employment termination initiated by the organization.
                    Layoff - involuntary employment termination initiated by the organization for non-disciplinary reasons.
                    Retirement - voluntary employment termination initiated by the employee meeting age, length of service, and
                     any other criteria for retirement from the organization.

               End of Service Benefits

               End of service benefits shall be paid based upon legal and contractual provisions for termination of services as follows:
                      Salary up to and including the last working day.
                      Accrued vacation leave until last day of notice period.
                      Severance pay will be paid to employee if he /she has completed a year of service

               Return of Property
               Employees are responsible for all National Paints property, materials, or written information issued to them or in their
               possession or control during their employment. Employees must return all National Paints property immediately upon
               request or upon termination of employment. National Paints may also take all action deemed appropriate to recover
               or protect its property including deductions from employee’s salary or full and final payment.

               Exit Interviews
               The exit interview provides National Paints management with opportunity to obtain information about where the
               organization is doing well and what are areas of improvement. Human Resource department will arrange an exit
               interview with key positions prior to their departures. The interview will be conducted by HR department and
               separated employee will be required to fill the “Exit Interview Questionnaire” through HRMS
               Employment Certificates and References

               National Paints provides employment certificates to employees after separation. The content of the Employment
               certificates provided include but is not limited to the following:
                      Last position held
                      Joining date
                      Length of Service
                      Direct Manager
                      Evaluation
                      Nationality and Document Number (e.g. Passport Number)
               Employment certificate can be issued after resignation upon request from employee through HRMS.
