Employee Handbook


               In case of termination of the employment contract, employees shall return equipment and facilities owned by National
               Paints such as: files, documents, equipments, vehicles and any etc.  All company owned property must be returned by
               the employee in order to proceed to the financial settlement with the company.


               Health and Safety


               As a manufacturing company, National Paints prioritizes the safety of its employees and the environment. For safety
               reasons, employees are advised against carrying out tasks for which they are not trained, competent, medically fit or
               surgically  rested  for.  Furthermore,  employees  assigned  in  the  factories  and  other  hazardous  areas  must  use  the
               protective equipment and clothing provided to him by the company.

                Dangerous materials must be properly and safely kept away. Employees are to alert their superior on any situations
               which involves the discharge of hazardous substances which could potentially harm the surroundings.

               All employees are expected to follow the instructions and orders related to business safety and precautions. Employees
               found to have broken this rule will undergo respective disciplinary measures.

               Work Related Injuries

               In the case of work accidents or occupational diseases, National Paints shall undertake the pay for the cost of the
               employer’s treatment, medicine, and rehabilitation equipment or artificial parts for those whose disability has been
               proven.

               If the injury prevents the employee from performing work, the company shall grant him pay that is equivalent to his
               wage during the treatment period for six months. The grant shall be reduced by half if the employee takes another 6
               months to recover.

               If the accident has caused the death of the employee, National Paints will compensate the employee’s family with an
               amount that shall be equivalent to the basic wage of the employee for a period of 24 months.

               *Occupational  diseases  recognized  by  the  UAE  labor  laws  are  as  follows:  poisoning  by  lead,  mercury,  arsenic,
               antimony, phosphorus, benzene or its homologues, manganese sulfuric metal, petroleum, chloroform and all of its
               compounds and etc. For a more comprehensive list of occupational diseases, please refer to the UAE Labor Laws.
