               PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT





               Appraisal Process


               Performance review of National Paints employees is conducted annually and is applicable from new fiscal year. The
               review is initiated  from the  Head of Departments and Human  Resource Department  after the approval from the
               Managing Director’s Office.

               Human Resource Department ensures  fair and unbiased assessment of an employee’s performance.  Appreciation
               bonuses may be granted to an employee, depending on performance and contribution at the sole discretion of the
               Managing Director.

               National Paints conducts interviews on existing employees after 2 years of service to assess motivation, development
               and employee’s overall evaluation of the Company.

               Training and development needs are also provided to employees after this assessment to break the barrier between
               challenges and goals.


               Training and Development


               National Paints provides in house and off site training programs to facilitate latest knowledge of the Industry. Trainings
               should  be  arranged  for  the  employees  through  the  Continuing  Development  Program.  Employee  assessments,
               conducted  through  the  appraisal  process  are  also  one  of  the  identifier  for  employee’s  needs  for  training  and
               development.

               Human  Resource  Department’s  development  plan  would  ensure  fair  and  unbiased  training  to  be  provided  to
               employees, regardless of current designation or department, to provide and motivate employees to grow in their career.


               Performance Evaluation


               A performance evaluation will be conducted on probationary employees in their 5th month of probation, to determine
               regularization. In addition, internal applicants for vacant positions will also undergo an evaluation to determine their
               suitability for the role.

               Employee  Attendance  would  play  a  vital  role  in  performance  review  as  it  is  a  necessity  criterion  of  analyzing
               efficiency and effectiveness. The main purpose of Performance Evaluation is to lay a solid foundation between staff
               and management and determine process and action plan for professional development.
